He told me about a band that he liked to listen to but didn’t talk about much because they were not that well known (at the time) and the lyrics were quite filthy. He offered it up in a private conversation late one night about life in general. I digress…The one thing that Nicholas left me with was a secret.
It was the results of many hours of blood sweat and tears that I eventually walked away from because it was causing me to lose my desire to listen to music.
…and it is still floating around out there with a lot of good interviews with great bands. The website I no longer publish to was called Chasing-Sky… They did a cool video interview but made it private when they broke up which really kind of pisses me off given the amount of work we both put into it. “ Luna Sea-Alice in Wonderland” is one of my favorite songs of theirs.
Their music is still out there and most definitely worth the listen. A few years ago I interviewed Nicholas McClelland (bass/mixing) from a no longer in existence band called The Blushing Gun out of Illinois.
